Smiling Kids Leaning Down into the Picture
Service...Motivation...Integrity...Leadership...Enrichment. A Community Service Club The goal is to expose children to different organizations and facilities that provide pillars in our community's foundation at local, national and global levels. They will be provided with the opportunity for "hands on experience" and will also attempt to execute service projects based on their new found knowledge and ideas. We plan on visiting our friends at Absolut Care Nursing Home and ringing bells for the salvation Army's Kettle Campaign. This year we will have SMILE workdays, where the children will participate in activities such as raking leaves for Independence House, hosting another community spaghetti dinner, running our 5th annual Cupcake Campaign, organizing a food drive, and bowling with a local adult service organization.

Notes
  • $20 fee includes T-shirt
  • Parents must write a note to school to allow their child to attend an after-school activity
  • Children must be registered with the Town of Aurora Recreation Department before attending their first meeting
