E.A.S.T. Short Course Season
Join the East Aurora Swim Team for an exciting new season! Successful development, team building, and focused training are the backbone of this club. Each EAST level has meaningful instruction that encourages each swimmer’s proper overall development. Registration in each level is limited, and planning time is needed for coaches, so please register early.
EAST is a swim club that is coached by Town of Aurora Staff and supported by the parent booster club therefore, part of being an EAST family means helping at meets throughout the season. Parent volunteering is an expected and rewarding part of the program.

Program Notes - Progressive Approach
EAST uses a progressive age group program designed to develop the child physically, mentally, and emotionally in a systematic fashion. A well-defined, long-term approach of gradually increasing degrees of commitment is essential to reach peak performance levels during a swimmer's physiological prime. The emphasis in the early stages of participation is placed on developing technical skills and a passion for swimming. In the later years, a more demanding physical and psychological challenge is implemented into the training program. In addition to emphasizing long-term rather than short term results, EAST has established training groups of swimmers who are compatible in respect to abilities, commitment levels and goals.
